HTTP/3 – let's speed the web once more
HTTP/1.0 was published in 1996, followed by HTTP/1.1 one year later.
For 18 whole years, this was the standard used for practically the whole web throughout the world, improving performance with various hacks such as asset bundling, CSS sprites, icon fonts, and so on.
Then came HTTP/2.
And now, only a few years later, even when HTTP/2 adoption has not reached 50% yet, HTTP/3 will shortly be introduced.
Customizing Gatsby
If one of many templates to choose from is good enough for you – way to go!
Otherwise, it takes some deeper knowledge in JavaScript, Gatsby internals, React and a bit of GraphQL for customizing the functionality.
I will describe the changes we made in a bit of detail.
So, we've started to write a blog
We’ve had this idea to start a blog for quite some time now. Procrastination was our friend for a long period, but here we are!
With this intro post, I’ll provide some background info about future contents of this blog, but will also go deeper into the technical decisions we’ve made here.
Basically it could help you to get started with your own blog if you’d be up for that.
